Alkon Corporation has been manufacturing fluid power products from its beginnings in the mid 1950's. It started with a single line to today's extensive product line that covers a wide variety of valves, fittings and flow controls.
Alkon has gone from a small start in Hawthorne NJ to larger facilities, also in NJ, to their Corporate Headquarters recently relocated to Fremont, Ohio.
The Ohio plant, which is the main manufacturing facility, has grown from a 7000 sq. ft. building to close to 50,000 sq feet today that incorporate offices, warehouse, and production. Their Mexico plant produces their forgings as well as doing primary machining on many parts.
The line of fittings is one the most extensive available on the market today. Alkon is also a leader in the rapidly growing DOT push in market. They are one of only a handful of companies worldwide with the ability and technology to produce a line of lapped spool valves in addition to other valve products. The flow control line has long been recognized as a high flow, ultra reliable product.
